Infrared Asphalt Repair at Red Rocks Church in Lakewood
- Lakewood, CO
- Church parking lot and rear service drive
Asphalt Coatings Company made infrared repairs across the parking lot and the rear service drive at Red Rocks Church on West Alameda Avenue in Lakewood. Every repair is a squared-off block of fresh asphalt set into older, cracked pavement.
Some sit in the stall rows against the building's back wall. Others run along a service drive lined with brush and a wooden fence, or tuck against the yellow curb islands out front.

Where the repairs went
The repairs cover stall rows, the service drive, curb edges and a storm drain inlet.

Stall rows
Against the back wall, a square patch now sits in a stall row surrounded by alligator-cracked asphalt.

Service drive
Long patches follow the rear service drive between the building and the brush line.

Painted stripe
One patch stops cleanly at a yellow stripe painted across the drive.

Storm drain
Near the loading area, the new asphalt is cut to shape around a storm drain grate.

Curb islands
In the main lot, several patches run right up to yellow-painted curb islands.
Repairs in the main lot
Out front, our crew placed patches between the planted islands and along the drive aisles.
Two of them sit side by side next to a planter strip. A small roller worked among the patches near the islands.
