Asphalt Coatings Company milled and repaved the private drives at Lakewood Vista, a residential community off South Cole Street in Lakewood, and then striped its parking bays. The work ran in two rounds. On the first day the crew milled the curving drives between the garages and coated the cut surface for paving, and by the next day those drives carried new asphalt and fresh stall lines. We came back four days later for a second section, where some of the old pavement came out right down to the base before the paver went through.

Milling and paving the drives
The first section went from worn pavement to new asphalt over two days.
Mill
Milling stripped the worn surface off the drives, leaving a ridged base for the rollers waiting at the far end.
Check depth
At the cut edge, a tape measure showed how deep the milling went.
Clean the edges
Beside the garage doors, the crew cleared loose millings by hand and with a loader bucket.
Tack
A glossy tack coat then covered the milled surface, down to the curb corners and storm drains.
Pave
By the next day, new asphalt ran curb to curb along the drives.
The second section, four days later
On the return visit the crew milled another stretch of drive and dug some areas down to the base.
A skid steer with a milling attachment worked the lane around a manhole. In other spots the old asphalt came out completely, exposing the gravel and soil underneath, and a tape measure checked each dig-out. A tracked paver then laid new asphalt over the tacked surface, with skid steers working alongside it and the fresh mat running up to the curb.

White stall lines and ADA stalls went down on the new asphalt in the parking bays.

Orange layout lines set the spacing before the white stall lines were painted.
ADA stalls
Each ADA stall pairs a blue accessible symbol with a white hatched access aisle.
Parking bays
Smaller bays off the main drive got new stall lines as well.
