Crack Sealing and Striping at Kohl's on Powers Boulevard in Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs, CO
Retail store parking lot

Asphalt Coatings Company sealed cracks and restriped the parking lot at Kohl's on North Powers Boulevard in Colorado Springs. Long cracks across the lot were filled with black sealant first. After dark, our crew repainted the whole lot in bright yellow, from the open stall rows to the hatched zones at both store entrances, and added fresh ADA stalls and red curb paint.

Crack sealing across the lot

The sealant shows as black bands running through the stall rows and drive aisles. Some cracks cross the lot in straight lines for many stalls; others meet in a V. In the early light, the sealed cracks stand out against the faded old striping, before any new paint went on.

Overnight striping

With the store closed, a walk-behind striper repainted the lot one row at a time.
