Asphalt Coatings Company milled, repaved, repaired and striped the shared drive lanes and parking at the Mountain Shadows townhomes on Bradley Drive in Boulder. On the first day the crew milled a drive lane and started infrared repairs on cracked pavement. New asphalt went down the next day while the repairs continued. By the third day, yellow stall lines, painted stall numbers and bright yellow curbs marked out the new surface.

Milling and repaving the drives

Worn asphalt came off first, and new asphalt replaced it the following day.

Infrared repairs across the property

Rectangular infrared patches went into cracked and broken spots on the drive lanes and in the parking rows over two days.

Some run long and narrow beside the carports. Others sit in the open lot between wheel stops, against a concrete gutter pan or next to a landscaped island. Each one has straight, squared-off edges. On the second day, a patching truck with a propane tank stood beside fresh patches with its heater panel lowered onto the pavement.

Striping and curb paint

Striping and curb paint went onto the new asphalt the day after paving.
