Asphalt Patching, Concrete and Striping at Clear Creek Surgery in Wheat Ridge

Asphalt Coatings Company repaired the parking lot at Clear Creek Surgery on West 38th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, from asphalt patches to new striping. Patching came first: along the entrance curb, down the drive and into the back stall rows. About two weeks later our crew dug out curb lines and set forms for new concrete curbs, and a concrete walk at a rear door was finished the next day. By the final visit, sealant filled the cracks and fresh ADA stalls, crosswalks and stall lines marked the lot.

Asphalt patches around the lot
Square-edged asphalt patches went in across the Clear Creek Surgery lot on the first visit.
Entrance curb
The largest patches follow the red curb in front of the main entrance.

A long patch strip runs down the middle of the drive beside the building.

Behind the building, patches cut through faded yellow stall lines and run past a gated enclosure.
Concrete curbs and a rear walk
Concrete work started about two weeks after the patching and took three steps.
Dig out
Our crew dug out curb lines at the end of a parking row and around the planted islands.
Form
Straight and curved forms went in, with rebar set inside them for the new curbs.
Finish
By the next day, a new concrete walk led to the rear doors of the building.

Two days after the curb forms went in, the cracks were sealed and the lot carried fresh markings.

Blue accessible symbols and white hatched aisles mark the ADA stalls at the main entrance.
Crosswalks
White crosswalk bars cross the drive at the entrance and beside a planted island.

Yellow hatching keeps the area by the rear doors and the utility cabinet clear of parked cars.
Stall lines
New white stall lines run along the back parking row.
