Concrete Work and Striping at Safeway in Parker

Grocery store parking lot and loading area

Asphalt Coatings Company rebuilt concrete across the Safeway property on South Parker Road in Parker, then restriped the parking lot. The work ran for about three weeks.

Our crew began with new curbs around the parking islands and a new sidewalk along the storefronts. Striping followed. We then replaced a large slab in the rear loading area, set new concrete bases for the Drive Up pickup posts and replaced more island curbs, finishing with curb paint along the store walk.

Island curbs and sidewalks

The front of the lot came first, over three days.

Pickup stalls and the loading area

In the Drive Up pickup stalls, the posts now stand on new concrete bases with fresh yellow lines around them. Behind the store, a skid steer broke out the old loading area pavement. The crew set forms and dowels, then poured and finished one large new concrete slab.
