Asphalt Coatings Company patched the parking lots at The Crossing Apartments on Albrook Drive in northeast Denver over two days in a row. Where the patches went
The new asphalt went wherever the old pavement had broken up, from the curbs to the middle of the drive aisles.

Along the curbs
Patches run tight to the red fire lane curbs, including the stretch beside the trash bins.

Around the islands
At the rock-filled islands, the new asphalt meets the island curb.

Through the stall rows
Larger L-shaped and stepped patches cross whole rows of parking stalls.

In the drive aisles
On the second day the crew moved to the aisles and the fenced edge of the lot.
Rolling the new asphalt
A small double-drum roller worked alongside the crew to compact each fresh patch.
The roller sat beside the patches by the islands and the curbs on the first day. On the second, it rode on the trailer between areas.
