Asphalt Coatings Company patched and sealcoated the outdoor yard at Binford, a building supply site on the I-25 frontage road in Dacono. Patching took two days. Our crew marked out the failed areas, dug them out and paved them back with new asphalt, from the gated drive lane to the aisles between the material stacks.
About a month later we came back and sprayed sealcoat across the yard in front of the covered storage bays.

Patching the yard
Each repair went from paint marks to rolled asphalt in a set order.
Mark
Orange paint lines outlined the cracked and broken asphalt by the yard gate.
Dig out and check
With the old asphalt cut out, a tape measure against the cut edge showed how deep each repair went.
Pave
A skid steer brought in new asphalt, and the crew raked it level inside the cut edges.
Roll
On the second day a roller compacted the long patch running up the drive lane to the gate.
Where the patches went
Patches went in across the whole site, from the gate to the office parking and the open yard.
Gate
A patch now runs right up to the gate and the block retaining wall.
Office parking
In front of the office, a long strip of new asphalt replaced worn pavement near the reserved stall.
Storage yard
Out in the yard, separate rectangular patches sit between the stacked materials.
Drive aisle
The largest patch, L-shaped, covers a wide section of one drive aisle.
Sealcoating the yard
Sealcoat went on about a month after patching, sprayed by a two-person crew.
One worker walked the spray wand across the asphalt while the other fed the hose from behind. The fresh coat left the yard in front of the covered storage bays a deep, even black.
