Crack Sealing and Striping at US Storage in Littleton
- Littleton, CO
- Self-storage facility drive aisles
Asphalt Coatings Company sealed the cracks in the drive aisles at US Storage on South Youngfield Court in Littleton, then painted fresh arrows and an ADA symbol. Part of the crack sealing was done in the dark, by flashlight. By daylight, sealant bands traced the long cracks between the storage buildings, the joints along the concrete walks and the branching cracks around the bollards. Every photo here comes from that one day on site.

Where the cracks were sealed
Sealant went into cracks along the street-side drive, beside the concrete walks and in the narrow aisles between units.

Unit aisles
Long cracks running down the aisles between the rows of red unit doors are now sealed.

Concrete edges
Where the asphalt meets a concrete walk or apron, the joint between the two was sealed.

Around bollards
Cracks that branch out around the green bollards were sealed right up to each post.

By the curb
Near a fire hydrant, a long crack is sealed all the way to the curb line.

After dark
Some cracks were filled by flashlight, and the black sealant shows up glossy against the dry asphalt.
New arrows and an ADA stall
Fresh white arrows now point drivers through the aisles, each one with a traffic cone beside it in the photos.
Near the US Storage sign out front, the ADA stall carries a newly painted blue accessible symbol with a white border.
