Asphalt Coatings Company sealcoated and restriped the parking lots at the Copper Stone apartments on South Lafayette Drive in Lafayette. Before the work, the lots were grey and the old markings had faded. We coated them one section at a time, then painted new white stall lines, crosswalk bars and ADA stalls.

Sealcoating in sections

Sealcoat went down across the property in sections, with cones closing off each fresh area.

Weathered grey asphalt and faded lines covered the lots between the buildings.

On the first day, black sealcoat was spread right up to the concrete gutters.

By the next evening, more of the lot was black, and sealed cracks showed as raised lines under the coat.

Four days after the first coat, cones still closed off the final section while it cured.

White paint marks the parking stalls, the walking routes and the accessible spaces.
